Carroll Shelby has had a remarkably long career as a driver, owner, team manager, manufacturer, consultant, and visionary. His accomplishments have included breaking land speed records at Bonneville in 1954, designing the Shelby Cobra and subsequently the Shelby Mustang that is built by Ford.

Polished aluminum cap that comes as original equipment with American Racing Torq-Thrust II Series wheels.
Will also fit all late model Torq-Thrust D series wheels with new cap screw pattern. New pattern is 2 3/16" between cap screw holes. Older pattern (pre-70's) is 2 1/8" between cap screw holes and will not accept this cap.

These caps are made for the newer style Torq Thrust wheels. The newer style Torq Thrust screw hole pattern is 2 1/5" between cap screw holes. These caps will not fit older versions of the Torq Thrust wheel because the hole pattern is different. The base of this cap has a 5-ear type configuration to screw on to your Torq Thrust wheels.
